Behind Maremonti there is no large travel corporation, but me Stefanie Ghiglione, an independent entrepreneur with many years of experience and a deep personal connection to Liguria. What you will not find here are standardized processes or anonymous routines. What you will find is personal advice, honest recommendations and a genuine understanding of what makes a holiday truly special. You will feel the difference from the very first contact.

German by birth, Ligurian at heart – I’ve been connected to this region for decades

Through my former work as managing an olive farm and running an agriturismo, I naturally grew into the world of holidays in Liguria. During that time, I learned what guests truly value and which small details often make the biggest difference. Early on, Italian friends asked me what mattered most to guests, while friends from Germany turned to me for recommendations for the right place to stay.

From these two perspectives – host and guest – Maremonti was born: a personal and independent selection of carefully chosen holiday homes in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.

What sets Maremonti apart: trust, experience, and personal attention instead of algorithms

At Maremonti, you do not speak to a call center and you do not communicate with an automated system. You speak directly with me. I take time to understand your wishes and help you find the holiday home that truly suits you, whether you are travelling with children, with a dog or have special requirements.

I know each property personally. I have visited them myself, I know their locations and I know the owners. I only recommend homes where I would happily spend my own holiday. This careful selection, combined with my deep local knowledge, makes the difference. Maremonti is not an anonymous booking platform, but a personal connection to selected holiday homes, honest advice and genuine local insight.

Support throughout – even during your holiday

Support at Maremonti does not end once you have chosen your accommodation. Especially during your holiday, personal availability becomes truly valuable. If something unexpected happens, I am reachable and ready to assist in a practical and calm way.

Thanks to my long-established local network, I can often provide quick guidance and helpful contacts. And of course, I am not only there in challenging moments. I am equally happy to support you in discovering the beautiful side of Liguria with individual excursion ideas, culinary experiences or small recommendations that make your stay memorable. Liguria offers countless possibilities, and I am glad to share my personal tips with you.
