Cancellation Terms

A holiday begins long before you arrive, with anticipation, planning and the choice of a very special place to stay.

The holiday properties offered through Maremonti are reserved for your travel dates on a binding basis by the respective property owner. This provides planning certainty for both sides, for you as a guest as well as for the owner.

What happens if you need to cancel?

Unless different cancellation terms are stated on the relevant property page under “Services and Prices”, the following conditions apply:

Up to and including 60 days before arrival

The Maremonti service fee already paid is non refundable. It covers the advisory and service work provided in connection with your booking.

From 59 days before arrival

100 percent of the agreed rental price will be charged. Final cleaning and any consumption based additional costs are excluded.

The cancellation terms applicable to your booking form part of your rental agreement with the respective property owner and can be found on the relevant property page on our website.

The Maremonti service fee relates to your separate agreement with Maremonti. The cancellation terms for the accommodation are governed by your rental agreement with the respective property owner.

Our aim: to find a fair solution

We understand that plans can sometimes change. If this happens, we will work together with the property owner to find the best possible solution.

In many cases, we are able to rent out the cancelled period again and thereby reduce the costs arising from the cancellation.

If the cancelled period can be rebooked in full or in part, any cancellation charges already calculated will be reduced or refunded proportionately in accordance with the new booking.

You are also welcome to suggest a replacement guest. The replacement guest must take over the booking under the existing conditions and must be accepted by the property owner.

We are here to support you

If your plans change or you need to cancel your booking, we will of course assist you with the necessary communication and coordination with the property owner.

Our recommendation for added peace of mind

As personal circumstances can change unexpectedly, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance as well as travel interruption insurance..

Depending on the policy you choose, this may provide cover for illness, accidents or other insured events before or during your trip.

This allows you to plan your holiday with greater peace of mind and gives you additional protection should something unexpected happen.
